Frequently asked questions

Am I a good candidate for Laser Hair Removal?

We are able to treat all skin and hair type combinations. There are factors to consider such as, following preparation guidelines, genetics, or illness. For example someone with PCOS may require more follow up treatments than somone without PCOS. No matter what the situation we will discuss these things during your first appointment and then at the begining of each follow up appointment. Please note that Grey/White hair can not be treated. Although we can treat clients that have a combination of white and any other hair color. All laser hair removal devices target pigment in the hair. Because white hair has no pigment it makes laser hair removal ineffective. The best way to treat white/grey hair is via electrolysis. However, if you have a combination of white/grey hair with any other hair color we can certainly help you by targeting the hair which still has pigment. This will reduce the Overall amount of hair in the areas we treat.

Can you treat Red or Blonde Hair?

It is a common misconception that red and blonde hair can not be treated. We are able to complete laser hair removal sessions for clients with these hair colors. These hair types are much more difficult to treat, however, the laser that we use is designed to give us successs. You may require more sessions than the average 8 and we will discuss this at your first appointment when we design your laser session details.

How long does a laser session take?

We use in motion super hair removal (SHR) technology therefore we are able to complete a session in a matter of minutes. You can even come on in on your lunch break and then be on your way back to work in no time. Getting your nails or hair done? No problem do your session afterwards. It is so convienent. Running errands? Squeeze us in and you'll be in and out.

Do you accept walkins?

We are an appointment only based business so we encourage you to schedule an appointment online.

Is laser Hair Removal Painful?

Our laser hair removal service is not painful. Unlike old laser technology you will not feel the rubber band snap. We use in motion technology so the laser is spread out across the skin in a sweeping motion versus setting the laser on the skin and creating that popping sensation as the laser triggers.

How should i prepare for my Laser Hair Removal Service?

You can shave! In fact, we want you to shave the day before or day-of your treatment. Although our laser works on tanned skin your session will be most effective if your skin is in its natural skin tone (no sun, no tanning beds, no self-tanner). No waxing, plucking, or using hair removal creams 4 weeks prior to your appointment. Come in for your treatment with clean skin (no lotions or makeup).
